The First Sweet Tea Murders Walking Tour Sold Out — and the Next One Is July 30

Last night, Sweet Tea Murders stepped onto the streets of old Pensacola for the first walking tour: Crimes Around the Plaza.

And thanks to a sold-out crowd, it was a memorable beginning.

We gathered near Plaza Ferdinand, walked the same blocks where history still seems to whisper from the brick, stone, and shadow, and told the stories of old Pensacola crimes that many people have walked past for years without ever knowing what happened there.

By all accounts, the first tour was a success.

There was history. There was mystery. There were gasps, laughs, questions, and more than one moment where someone looked around and said, “Wait…that happened right here?”

That is exactly what Sweet Tea Murders is about.

These are not just old stories. They are local stories. They belong to the streets, buildings, families, newspapers, police officers, witnesses, victims, and courtrooms of our own city. They are part of Pensacola’s forgotten past, and we are bringing them back to life—carefully, respectfully, and one story at a time.

The next Sweet Tea Murders walking tour, Crimes Around the Plaza, will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2026.
