Officer Kelly Klimkowski died On Tuesday, September 28, 2021, from complications of COVID-19 in the line of duty while working at the Santa Rosa Corrections Institution at 5850 E. Milton Road in Milton, Florida.
Officer Klimkowski had served the citizens of Florida for 15 years as a correctional officer, starting on July 28, 2006. She was currently assigned to the training section of the prison. She was known for her happy demeanor and her ability to work well with people inside and outside the prison.
She is survived by her father, brother, two sisters a niece and a cousin.
