In this special Sweet Tea Murders LIVE presentation, former homicide detective and police historian Michael Earl Simmons reexamines the 1964 death of Hank Killam, a local man whose reported connections reached into the shadowy circles surrounding Lee Harvey Oswald and Jack Ruby. Although Killam’s death was officially ruled a suicide, the circumstances have fueled questions and speculation for decades.

Adding to the mystery, an old rumor within the Pensacola Police Department claims that the investigating officer was directed by an unidentified supervisor to classify the case as a suicide. Shortly before his death, Killam reportedly made a chilling statement: “I’m a dead man.”
