On Thursday, July 9 at 6:00 PM, I’ll be leading the first Sweet Tea Murders Walking Tour around Plaza Ferdinand — where we’ll stroll through downtown Pensacola and revisit five fascinating local murder stories from the days when gentlemen wore hats, newspapers used words like “fiend,” and everybody’s alibi sounded suspiciously rehearsed.
We’ll meet at the Plaza Ferdinand fountain, where the water still flows, the history still whispers, and nobody has yet confessed to anything.
This is not a haunted tour.
This is not a marathon.
This is not one of those tours where you need hiking boots, a compass, and a last will and testament.
It’s a relaxed downtown walk filled with true crime, local history, Southern storytelling, and just enough murder to make your sweet tea taste a little more dramatic.
